Thursday (Apr. 15) morning's opening ceremony of National Security Education Day kicked off a series of activities to mark its first celebration since the implementation of the National Security Law for Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Police College holds an open day for the public to learn more about the significance of national security and the work of the police force in safeguarding national security.
The police force performed a number of exciting performances, including anti-terrorist task force and emergency team for anti-terrorist drills, demonstrating how to handle the situation when the police encounter terrorists, and also demonstrating how to rescue hostages from the hands of thugs. The public praised the anti-terrorist task force's professionalism.
