Watch This | Children of the Stars: Autism sheds a light in an unpredictable way
April 2 is the United Nations World Autism Awareness Day. People with autism are called "children from the stars". They shut the door of their inner world so tightly that everything of the outside world seems to have nothing to do with them.
According to statistics, the number of autistic people in China is over 10 million, and the number of children under 12 years old with autism is 2 million, with an autism incidence rate of 0.7%. To some, they might look like outsiders. But to their families, they are no less precious.
As one of the autistic people, Kang Rui is now an art designer for a bookstore in Beijing. All of these achievements were made possible by his mother, a strong-minded lady who worked hard to enter his inner world and kept giving him endless love. Watch the video to see how autism can shed a light in an unpredictable way.
