The M+ Museum in West Kowloon Cultural District will open at the end of this year, and it is reported that the museum will exhibit controversial works. People complained that these works are suspected of violating national security law, including works by Ai Weiwei.
Ai Weiwei has always tried to infiltrate political activities into so-called performance art. The reporter searched the M+ collection, the official website of the M+ Museum, and found a large number of Ai Weiwei's works which reveals his hatred of China. The museum should take down all of Ai Weiwei's exhibits because they are suspected of inciting others to split the country and subvert the regime.
The M+ Museum in West Kowloon Cultural District has acquired some collections that have aroused controversy in the community. The high price of the art objects acquired earlier from the unknown Korean art group "Young-Hae Chang Heavy Industries" has puzzled the public as the pictures posted on the internet show that they are basically discarded boxes. However, the authorities have been reluctant to disclose the amount of money involved in the purchase, making taxpayers confused.

Besides, M+ bought a "sushi bar" in 2014 for HK$15 million in public funds, making it the largest exhibit in the M+ Museum. This sushi bar is just an old renovation of a Tokyo sushi restaurant. An artist said that he disagreed that these items were worth the high price of collecting. Hong Kong people might not be interested in appreciating them. "Hong Kong's public museums acquire a lot of so-called artworks from abroad; what do they have to do with Hong Kong people?” said the artist.
