Zhengzhou University is open to HK&TW&Macao students

The recruitment of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan students by mainland China universities is a critical way to strengthen educational exchanges and cooperation between mainland China and HK, TW, Macao, as well as an essential way to help Chinese youths outside Mainland better understand China.

Approved by the Ministry of Education, Zhengzhou University is qualified to admit HK, TW, Macao undergraduates from 2017, as well as Taiwan academic test students, HK students exempt from admission exams, and Macao guaranteed admission students from 2018.

In 2018, Zhengzhou University, for the first time HK&TW&Macao students full enrollment, the results were remarkable, the school enrolled a total of 100 students from HK, TW and Macao.

In 2019, the university admitted 109 students from HK, TW and Macao. This year, the university intends to accept 87 Taiwanese candidates. Previously, the school has already admitted 4 students from Macao and will accept candidates from HK, TW, Macao through HKDSE and JUPAS.

Some students from HK who are studying at Zhengzhou University said they have decided to study in mainland China since high school, believing that their chosen profession in mainland China is much better than in HK.

Some students from Taiwan said that to pursue their dreams, they are willing to go to a wider world to see and learn more, so they came to Zhengzhou University to gain knowledge, and at the same time, they have achieved true friendship with their compatriots.
