The Transport Department announced today (Feb. 25) that the Cross Harbour Tunnel fast lane towards Hong Kong Island has been temporarily closed due to the need to carry out urgent repairs. At present, motorists can only use the remaining lane to pass through, resulting in heavier traffic at the road section. Members of the public are advised to make reasonable travel arrangements to avoid the affected road section or reserve more travel time.
