Building on the triumph of last year's Asia's 50 Best Bars awards ceremony in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has once again partnered with 50 Best to host the hall-of-fame awards ceremony "The World's 50 Best Bars 2025" of the global bar scene in Hong Kong for the first time, highlighting the city's pivotal role in the global mixology culture.

Following the edition in Singapore in 2023, The World's 50 Best Bars awards ceremony returns to Asia this year, making its highly anticipated debut in Hong Kong. The prestigious event will take place on October 8 (Wednesday) at the iconic Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, where the annual list of The World's 50 Best Bars will be revealed in a live awards ceremony, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Victoria Harbour. Recognized as the most authoritative global benchmark for cocktail trends, the ceremony will bring together an unparalleled gathering of elite figures to celebrate the achievements of the finest bars and bartenders around the world.
Highlights for the event program in Hong Kong will include the Bartenders' Feast, hosted the evening before the ceremony for those talented individuals whose bars are featured in this year's ranking. The hotly anticipated list of The World's 50 Best Bars will be unveiled at a grand ceremony on October 8, with red-carpet arrivals and a drinks reception in advance of the live countdown and reveal of The World's 50 Best Bars 2025, including the much sought-after title of The World's Best Bar.
Two Homegrown Bars Secured Places in The World's Best Bars in 2024
Last year, two local bars earned spots on the prestigious World's 50 Best Bars list, with Bar Leone ranking No.2 and Coa securing the No.18 place. This achievement solidifies the city's position as a leading player in the global bar industry.
The annual list of The World's 50 Best Bars is one of the most authoritative and respected global surveys of cocktail excellence. Voted for by a handpicked Academy of more than 700 bartenders, consultants, writers and cocktail specialists from around the world with a 50/50 gender split, the list of The World's 50 Best Bars is independently adjudicated by Deloitte.
The awards ceremony of The World's 50 Best Bars 2025 will also be broadcast live to a global audience through The World's 50 Best Bars TV channel on YouTube.
