In his speech, Li Dahong extended a warm welcome to the leaders and guests at the scene, highlighting Wen Wei Po's long-standing commitment to social responsibilities.

According to Li, over the past seventy-five years, Hong Kong Wen Wei Po has always been a recorder of the great achievements of the motherland and a disseminator of major national policies, keenly promoting mutual understanding and cooperation between the Mainland and the SAR as an irreplaceable bridge and advocating patriotism and love for HK in this pluralistic city.

He added that the newspaper has always shouldered its social responsibility, paying attention to the solution of social problems and improvement of the public's well-being, showing a humanistic newspaper's vision and mission.

Wen Wei Po has actively responded to the changes of the times, forming a full-media, multi-platform, diversified, three-dimensional pattern of communication, constantly enhancing its influence and credibility, Li said.

He added that the future of HK is full of hope and opportunities, making it an excellent subject for news media to cover.

"I believe that Wen Wei Po will continue to work with the SAR Government to enable the world to have a more accurate and comprehensive understanding of the development prospects of the country and Hong Kong," he said.

Lee looks forward to Wen Wei Po continuing to serve as a bridge between the government and the public, as well as between the Mainland and the SAR, reflecting public opinion, exerting influence, conveying positive energy, and joining hands to build a better HK.
