UK PM Rishi Sunak to announce cabinet reshuffle on Tuesday
The Times, the Telegraph and the Sun all reported on Feb. 6 local time that British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will announce a cabinet reshuffle on Tuesday.
Sunak fired Conservative Party chair Nadhim Zahawi over his tax affairs.
Sunak is also under pressure from opposition parties and even some lawmakers in his own party. Deputy Prime Minister and justice secretary Dominic Raab has been embroiled in a workplace bullying scandal, and reports say he may lose his job.
Sunak's office declined to comment on the possible reshuffle.
The report also said that the government's Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) could be broken up to see a new energy department, with business and trade merged.
According to the Sun, there would be a new science and digital department too.
