Free HK Individual Visit Scheme resumes application in Guangzhou

According to immigration centers in Guangzhou, no appointment is required to apply for the Hong Kong Individual Visit Scheme again, and travelers can go directly to the smart endorsement area of immigration centers. 

Some people said that it took only about three minutes to renew their Individual Visit Scheme visas to Hong Kong using the self-service machines, and there were queues in front of the self-service machines at some of those centers.

The staff at the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department's Exit-Entry Permit Production Centre said that the self-service processing of Individual Visit Permits to Hong Kong has resumed at all centers in Guangzhou, and the use of the self-service machines requires the use of identity cards and Hong Kong and Macao Travel Permits.
