Japan intends to relax anti-epidemic measures for passengers entering from China
According to the Japan Broadcasting Corporation today (Feb. 1), the Japanese government is considering relaxing the anti-epidemic measures on passengers entering from China, including no longer requiring negative nucleic acid test result.
Starting December 30, 2022, the Japanese authorities has required those who fly directly from the Chinese mainland to Japan or have visited the Chinese mainland seven days prior before entry must to take a nucleic acid test and be quarantined if they test positive.
Since January 8 of this year, Japan has required 72-hour negative nucleic acid test results for people flying directly from the Chinese mainland to Japan.
