John Lee: 'Come2HK' scheme extended to all regions of Mainland, with unlimited quota
Chief Executive John Lee announced Friday (Sept. 23) that the cap for people from mainland China and Macao to come to the city under the "Come2HK" scheme will be lifted. The scheme will be extended to the whole of the mainland.
Speaking at a press conference, Lee also announced that HK will end mandatory hotel quarantine for overseas arrivals, and that the new "0+3" scheme will take effect on September 26.
Incoming travelers under the new plan from September 26 will only be required to go through three days of home medical surveillance, with their movement citywide limited.
