Hong Kong Space Museum launches new Omnimax show 'Sea Lions: Life by a Whisker'
The Hong Kong Space Museum launched a new Omnimax show, "Sea Lions: Life by a Whisker", today (April 21). The show features an endangered Australian sea lion pup named Otto and her wondrous coming-of-age tale, which is filled with hope and awe.
Living on a jagged cliff face next to a roaring ocean along the Australian coast, Otto learns to navigate the beautiful yet challenging coastal environment with the help of her mother and others. During her journey of growth, she meets giant humpback whales, cunning cuttlefish, great white sharks, and eventually a marine park ranger who strives to save the endangered Australian sea lions by crossing the ocean to the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, the United States, to find out the keys to sea lion conservation.
The screening times of the 44-minute show are 3:30 pm and 8 pm on weekdays and 2 pm and 6:30 pm on weekends and public holidays. The Hong Kong Space Museum, located at 10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, is closed on Tuesdays (except on public holidays).
Tickets priced at HK$24 (front stalls) and HK$32 (stalls) are now available at the Hong Kong Space Museum Box Office and URBTIX (www.urbtix.hk). For details of the show, please visit hk.space.museum/en_US/web/spm/shows/omnimax-show/sea-lions-life-by-a-whisker.html, or call 2721 0226 for enquiries.
