OMG | Wood-carving artist showcases marvelous craftsmanship
Jianchuan, a county in Da Li of Southwestern China was named in 1996 by the Ministry of Culture as the national hometown of wood-carving art, and in 2011, Jianchuan wood-carving was included as an intangible cultural heritage of China.
Jianchuan wood carving has a history of thousands of years. Artisans can work magic with their hands, endowing the exquisite handicrafts with a great deal of vividity, as if they came alive.
