Watch This | Let there be snow: Snowmaking biz leader looks forward to 2022 Winter Olympics
Florian Hajzeri has been in China for almost ten years. He first came to China in 2011 as an exchange student at the Peking University. He then stayed in China and finished his graduate studies in Shanghai. After getting his Master's degree, Hajzeri started to work in Shanghai and Beijing, before taking the position as General Manager of TechnoAlpin's branch.
With headquarters in Italy, TechnoAlpin is a snowmaking equipment provider. It has been four years since Hajzeri joined the ice and snow industry in China, which has been thriving due to the coming 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The company's China branch has won the tenders for all snowmaking projects for the 2022 Olympics.
"To get like a growth just as China did (in the past year) is actually quite phenomenal," says Hajzeri, lauding the country's "highly stable market."
What was Hajzeri's first impression of China? How has the Winter Olympics boosted the ice and snow industry in China? What does he think of the future momentum of this area?
DotDotNews' correspondent in Beijing, Crystal Zhu, invites Hajzeri for an interview. Let's see how his company is gearing up for the coming 2022 Winter Olympics and what expectations he has for the next five years in China.
