OMG | Creative Chinese painting: A splendid world in paper
A Chinese painter tries to use a piece of paper to imitate Zhang Zeduan's famous painting Along the River During the Qingming Festival. However, the complexity of the original painting allows him to present only part of its essence.
Zhang's picture captures people's daily lives and the landscape of the capital, Bianjing, during the Northern Song dynasty. This masterpiece has been passed down from generation to generation, having gone through wars and chaos, and shifts in times, with unchanging values. Great paintings can always prevail over time and space boundaries to become immortal, demonstrating the beauty of aesthetics and universal human values.
