Coronavirus | HK reports 5 new cases, 5,289 in total
Hong Kong's Center for Health Protection (CHP) reported five additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, taking Hong Kong's tally to 5,289.
Of the newly-reported cases, four were imported and the remaining one, involving a 56-year-old male, was a local case with unknown source of infection, Head of the CHP's Communicable Disease Branch Chuang Shuk-kwan told a press briefing on Saturday afternoon.
Chuang said that less than 10 preliminary positive cases were reported on Saturday, including one untraceable infection that involved a 42-year-old male.
According to Hong Kong's Hospital Authority, 109 patients are still being treated in hospitals, including 12 in critical condition.
