Coronavirus | Global confirmed cases surpass 32 million

According to statistics from Johns Hopkins University, as of early this morning (Sept. 25), the reported number of people infected with COVID-19 has surpassed 32 million worldwide, with nearly 980,000 deaths. The epidemic is still at its worst in the U.S., with more than 6.9 million people infected and more than 200,000 dead.

In Europe, the number of daily confirmed cases in the UK has reached a record high of over 6,600, with a cumulative death toll of nearly 42,000, the highest in Europe.

In Spain, more than 10,000 people were infected in a single day, bringing the total to over 700,000. In Greece, some public hospital staff went to the Ministry of Health to protest against the epidemic, demanding more manpower.
