In Guangdong, there's a highly valued polytechnic university with impressive British-style architectures. Students call it the “Guangdong version of Hogwarts" DotDotNews reporter recently visited the Guangzhou International Campus of South China University of Technology (SCUT) to explore this glamorous campus.
Pursuing a bachelor's degree at the SCUT, Russian student Julia says that she loves the picturesque scenery and advanced teaching and dormitory facilities on campus. This year's epidemic makes her even more impressed by the preventive and control measures taken by the Chinese government and the school in the early stages.
"The campus is well-equipped with many high-rise buildings, and the cafeteria food is very delicious," Phillip, an international student from Malawi says. He is now studying in the School of Civil Engineering and Transportation at SCUT.
The professional courses in the Guangzhou International Campus of SCUT adopt a full English teaching mode, which is in line with international standards.
At present, SCUT Guangzhou International Campus has four new engineering schools: Wu Xianming College of Intelligent Engineering, College of Microelectronics, College of Biomedical Science and Engineering, and College of Molecular Science and Engineering.
